Littlestown, Adams County, Pennsylvania

This class‑act vignette sits on the main floor, creating a graceful transition between the living room and dining room.

The Bloomingdale’s bombe chest is the undeniable star — a marvelous consignment find scored for just $65. Its scale and cool tones pair beautifully with the abstract coastal artwork above, grounding the entire composition.

If I could live inside a mercury glass jar, I would. It bridges old and new effortlessly, and this pair adds a soft, elegant shimmer that elevates the vignette.

The marble‑top round tray is a substantial piece, and its weight anchors the decor perfectly. The irregular gold‑flecked vase is a dream partner for the Ninety Six candle (No. 04: ruby red cherries, exotic saffron, leather, and warm tonka). The vase picks up the gold in the candle’s logo, helping the candle’s rich red feel intentional rather than out of place.

The checkered wood‑and‑metal candelabra introduces a touch of whimsy to the otherwise sophisticated arrangement. And perhaps the most important element is also the smallest: the white coral. It reinforces the coastal motif and gives the vignette a “collected” feel — not just decorated, but curated.
